Air quality and earthquakes in one widget, right in your browser with no sign-up.

The air tab covers South Korea. Allow location access and it picks your province automatically, or choose any of the 17 provinces and cities. It shows the average Comprehensive Air-quality Index (CAI) and six pollutants (PM10, PM2.5, ozone, NO₂, CO and SO₂) graded Good, Moderate, Unhealthy or Very unhealthy.

The station map puts a colored badge on every local monitoring station so you can see where the air is worst. Tap a station for a 24-hour PM10 and PM2.5 chart. Data comes from AirKorea (Korea Environment Corporation) and updates hourly.

The earthquake tab plots every magnitude 3.0+ earthquake reported by the US Geological Survey (USGS) in the past 7 days on a 3D globe, colored by magnitude. Tap a dot for magnitude, depth, time and tsunami information, along with a 7-day activity chart and the 10 most recent quakes.

What PM2.5 level counts as unhealthy in Korea?

Under Korea's Ministry of Environment standard, PM2.5 of 36–75 µg/m³ is Unhealthy and 76 or above is Very unhealthy. For PM10 it is 81–150 and 151 or above.

Does it show air quality outside Korea?

Not yet. Air data comes from AirKorea, which only covers South Korea. The earthquake tab is worldwide.
